Love love love this Doctor!!!! Was worth the wait . He was very attentive, listened to my concerns , offered options, and discussed possibilities. Actually appeared interested in my problems, was sympathetic and showed empathy for my medical problems. It is very evident that he actually cares for his patients . The staff was also so helpful as I got lost on the way to the office( ended up in Southport) . I was in tears as I didn't want to miss my appointment that I waited months for . The staff member talked me thru the directions to the office! Kudos to her !! Went way out of her way to ensure I could get to the office . This office has it all going on! They all show sincere concern for the patients of their practice! They so deserve a big thank you !!!

My future SIL waited 3 months for an appt. He’s been suffering and disabled for 15 months. Can’t work had to go on Husky. Then was canceled same day. Another month for next appt which was schedule asa Virtual, he wasn’t aware. Called and asked to change to in person, then accepted virtual. Because he tried to change they decided he was belligerent and banned from practice!! Patient advocate did nothing even with full explanation. If she listened to the call it was clear they immediately had an attitude. Useless!! No apology no accountability no appt! This is outrageous. We had hoped w the great reviews that he could finally diagnose him!! Guess his office policy discriminates against Husky. Was told they were already suspicious of him for fraud!! THAT by itself is extreme discrimination. Total lack of compassion. Left them in tears and even more depressed. Bringing discrimination complaint to medical board. 😡

My future son in law waited 3 months for an appt. Was cancelled an hr before appt. Scheduled a whole month later and when he called right before was treated w such disrespect and they banned him from the practice for no reason! Hartford Healthcare has been contacted and they’re moving at a snails pace. He is sick. What is wrong with these people?? Disgusting.

Absolute nightmare of a doctor and practice. Shame on you. Not to be trusted.

Dr. Jackson is very skilled in his discipline and he always goes way beyond to make his patients feel comfortable and explain things in detail. Would that all doctors be so talented and so caring. Just had another visit with Dr. Jackson (5/15/26). He is such an extraordinarily gifted doctor and human being. If you can imagine, I always look forward to my appts. with him. He is so responsive to my concerns and does not hesitate to find better answers when my body says no to my meds after a while. He is so reachable and whenever I contact him with a question or concern he responds within minutes. Who could ask for more?

I’ve been suffering from a severe case of lupus for a little over a year. I had my first appointment with Dr.Jackson today, he is the first rhyumotojogist I’ve encountered that truly cares about his patients. He sat with me for over an hour talking to me about my labs and solutions for what I’m dealing with. He explained things to me that no other doctor has. I left his office with a new understanding of my disease, and I’m hopeful for the first time ever in treatment with him. You can tell he really loves and cares about what he’s doing. I felt so seen and heard for the first time. If you’re struggling with autoimmune disease in the state of CT I promise you this is the doctor you have to have on your team. If I could give him a higher rating I would. Hands down the best.

After years of suffering with a debilitating condition and seeing multiple doctors who were not thorough in addressing my symptoms, I decided to seek a referral to a new physician. That decision led me to Dr. Don Andre Jackson at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, and it was truly life-changing.When I arrived at my appointment, I was in tears and in significant pain. Dr. Jackson immediately created a safe and supportive environment. He took the time to actively listen to everything I had been experiencing and asked thoughtful, detailed questions about my medical history. Instead of rushing through the visit, he started from the beginning and carefully evaluated my situation. Before I even left the office, he had already ordered lab work and arranged referrals for additional testing so we could start identifying the root cause of my symptoms. He thoroughly explained his concerns and reassured me that I was not “crazy” for the way I had been feeling. Hearing a physician acknowledge my
